Statuses and Workflow Actions
In administering the settlement, every registration and claim follows a series of process steps. Across the entire series of steps the activities become what’s called a workflow. As the workflow takes place, each process step is represented by a Status along the way, which indicates where a registration or claim stands at the moment.
Some statuses are set by the system while others are set manually by a user. When a manual status update is called for, the update is carried out via a workflow action to move from the current step to the next.
The Status can advance along the workflow for a single record or a group of records all at once:
- For a single record via a button in the details view
- For more than one record via “bulk” workflow action found in the list view
